Why Pedro?
Well, first of all, he’s the best pitcher of the last few decades–don’t tell us Maddux is, and certainly say nothing of Clemens–but more importantly, he played for the two best teams in the sport. Now he plays for the worst (says Jonathan) in front of the worst fans, which is a borderline tragedy. He deserves better. Here’s our rallying cry: Free Pedro!
